ZOOM was founded in 1997 by Washington, D.C. natives Steve Karr and Valerie Michus, two professionals with 50+ years' combined management and ownership experience in the courier industry.

Steve and Val saw that there was a gap in the D.C. courier market between the small companies that give the personal attention but not the range fo service or the huge companies with a long list of services, but little in the way of attention to you.

We're only as good as our customers and their businesses. ZOOM gives you that personal, first-name basis you'd expect from a smaller company, as well as the full range of "one-stop-shop" services you would expect from a courier giant.

We work with businesses, law firms, sports teams and individuals throughout D.C., Maryland and Virginia, as well as people and organizations throughout the U.S.
